The North 3rd Street Market in Williamsburg is making some new additions on the food front.

The popular indoor market, featuring innovative concepts that speak to the rich and evolving culinary history of the neighborhood, is adding five new vendors to the mix. The new eateries include Bun, Brooklyn Shaved Ice, Diggy’s Hot Dogs, Urban Whipped Dessert Lab, Jack’s Deluxe and Piade.

Bun is a Vietnamese noodle salad and sandwich shop serving grilled-to-order chicken, pork, beef and eggplant.

Those looking for summer favorites should head to Brooklyn Shaved Ice, Urban Whipped Dessert Lab and Diggy’s Hot Dogs.

Brooklyn Shave Ice serves Hawaiian shaved ice desserts with flavors including Pink Lemonade, Blue Hawaiian and Wild Cherry. Diggy’s Hot Dogs dishes out single or double hot dogs that can be piled high with unlimited toppings like Fritos, hot banana peppers and more.

Want a cool and creamy treat? Urban Whipped Dessert Lab is a vegan soft-serve ice cream with inventive flavors like Coffee Waffle Crunch.

Jack’s Deluxe is a nostalgic burger joint that specializes in classic hamburgers and french fries.

Finally, Piade, an Italian-style open-faced sandwich and wrap shop, sells items using premium meats, cheeses and produce.

While Bun, Brooklyn Shave Ice and Diggy’s Hot Dogs have officially opened for business, Urban Whipped Dessert Lab, Jack’s Deluxe and Piade are launching soon.

The new vendors will join market veterans like Di Fara, Jajaja and The Lobster Joint.

North 3rd Street Market’s interiors were upgraded in 2019 to include more expansive seating options, including a living room with mid-century modern couches and rattan accent chairs, in addition to greenery and stylish fixtures. The market pays homage to its pre-war roots with concrete floors, high ceilings and exposed wooden beams.

The market is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is located at 103 North 3rd Street in between Berry Street and Wythe Avenue.
