Real Estate-Facts that are true-My experience over 4 decades is the following. If an agent is not trained properly they will not remain in the business long. That goes for House listing presentations, exclusives, attaining Retail stores, Warehouses, and large Commercial buildings or Tax Payers.
I have seen it all. Agents attaining 10-15 exclusive house listings in a given year and maybe 2-3 sell only. One of the biggest mistakes any agent can make is not having the confidence to sell a home or not thinking his/her sales staff can’t sell the home. This results in what I call using the Krutch. The Krutch is placing the home immediately on Multiple Listing Service.
‘If you can’t sell the home or your sales team can’t sell the home then you do not belong in the business period.’ How can you ever achieve making good money if you start by placing everything on Multiple Listing. Do you like making ¼ of the commission each and every time?
With new technology, training seminars, rallies, meetings, you could be tied up most of your time following the groups procedures. But when three months go by and you have no money to show for it, is when many leave the Real Estate Business.
Point-40% quit the business within 12 months
Point-40% go to Real Estate to Real Estate searching for the perfect place to make money for the first ten years in business. They really haven’t learned much and couldn’t appraise a home on their own if their life depended on it.
Point-You can work with an office with 30 or more sales agents, or over 100 sales agents, that doesn’t mean your guaranteed to make six figures per year.
