When spring blooms, Queens flourishes with activity.

And this weekend and next is your chance to take advantage of the many events happening in the most diverse county.

From Brasilian dancers to awe-inspiring acrobats, even interpretive dance, the events for the upcoming week are sure to include something for everyone.

April 13 thru April 22 at 8 p.m. Green Space Blooms

Growing each year, the annual Green Space Blooms will feature 39 diverse choreographers as well as resident company Valerie Green/Dance Entropy. Completing each evening is a live music post performance party, sharing music from a different ethnic or classical tradition each night, provided by the Open Music Education. The festival brings New York City-wide attention to Long Island City as a destination for quality, thought provoking dance and music. | Green Space, 37-24 24th Street, Suite 301, Long Island City.

Saturday, April 14 & Sunday, April 15 at 2:00 & 8 p.m. Viver Brasil Dance Company

This award-winning dance company takes audiences on an inspiring cultural journey through Brazil, featuring a dazzling program of African Orixás (deities), samba celebrations, the Brazilian martial arts/dance form of Capoeira, and Carnaval. Saturday, April 14 at 8 p.m. Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway

Incredible voices and a talented band take the audience on a trip down memory lane and right back into the present with thrilling numbers from Broadway's latest hit shows. Admission: $28/seniors; $15/students with ID.

Saturday & Sunday, April 14 & 15 UniverSoul Circus

It's the last weekend to see the UniverSoul Circus at Roy Wilkins Park.

Great list of fun activities in Queens! It looks like we might just have to stop by to experience a few. They look like so much fun!
