The fair, which was held on Jamaica Avenue between Woodhaven Boulevard and Forest Park, featured musicians at almost every corner, vendors hawking treasures, and carnival food favorites like sweet roasted corn and fried Twinkies.
Children enjoyed moonwalks, as well as pony rides, face painting, and games, while adults began a rousing round of line dancing to the musical stylings of Mary Lamont.
State Senator Serphin Maltese and Councilman Anthony Como were also present, and won the endorsement of the New York Metro Country Music Association.
